Well we tried…

Until next week

I sure have been away from blogging a good lot but I haven’t been away from the game and today we scored a vital win that saw us secure 12th place… but seriously though we started the season looking for a Europa cup spot and we were succeeding and then fates changed, wins became ties and soon losses. We couldn’t beat the teams that were on our same level, we didn’t have that killer instinct that we had at the start of the season.

And yet we find ourselves in a very interesting situation, aside from our league position we have very interesting last 2 matches… Inter then Roma….. So basically the season is theoretically so to say “In our hands” how come? well beat inter and lose to Roma you’d be given Roma the Scudetto, Beat Roma and lose to inter and you’d give Inter yet another scudetto… (That ofcourse takes into account that the other Competitor wins their match)

Back on topic

That’s enough talking about the scudetto here, we have a tough encounter against a weakened Viola team (2 matches with inter and an away match) But we’ll still want to watch their match Tomorrow with Atalanta, to reasses their degree of fatigue, oh and btw if you are wondering Europa cup now is impossible, 10 pts away from Juve (6th) so if we win all our coming matches (Viola , Napoli , Inter , Roma) (Have faith ) we’ll still need Juve (And all the other teams to lose all their coming games. So forget Europa let’s just finish the season with style.

Today we host a team that honestly should be doing much better than us, but despite the Obvious difference in level, they only managed to get 2 measly points above us up till now, and let me remind you they aren’t getting easy games in the coming weeks, they still have Milan Sampdoria Napoli & Fiorentina (even cagliari might prove to be tough)to play in the near future.

Anyway now that we’ve talked about palermo, let’s have a little look on our upcoming games shall we….

So let’s not lie or trick ourselves into thinking that we can close the gap easily, we got worse games than palermo so we really have no other option than to beat palermo today and get that 1 week rise, but who knows we have to fun filled olimpico games that could go either way, And three tough but home games so we could see another 3-3 in store for the old lady (get ready sergio *Wink* *Wink*)
