Recaps, Knee-caps, Capslock and a button we need to press.

By: Mostafa | September 10th, 2009

Ok, calmly now. WTF happened?

First of all, it’s clear that from the start of this camaign our objective is to avoid relegation yet again, hasn’t it always? and yet you can’t stop feeling that these first two matches weren’t a real measure of our abilities, looking back at these two matches i’m just glad they didn’t end up to be blowouts.

And you couldn’t possibly hope to beat juve with all their might, and after a succesfull summer. Yet we preformed, we tried and we hit the post not once not twice, but three times and even tough we were sometimes lucky at back we still conceded and lost by only one goal, a match which Juve fans must have seen as a fun match to watch, turned out to be a heartstopping thriller. (I got caught up didn’t i :D )

Juve Vs Chievo

The lazio match was a shame, we could have won, but you know us (The luck of the irish is always with us ;) ) but i won’t spend any time recapping/ kneecapping the lazio match, it would be pointless really.

Hopefully Chievo will be safe from relegation this year also and why not return to its glory days of 5-6 years ago when they were achieving top 8 finishes. As a Juve fan, I think they played very well against us, and honestly the most just result should have been a draw like you said.
    Cheers.

Thanks for the comment Jorid, and our peak days were CL, so we are looking to return to that…. hopefully… eventually :D

Yup. I remember Chievo having Marazzina, Legrottaglie etc and being really awesome that season and everyone being amazed at their “cinderella story”.PS: I gotta admit I’ve always thought the Chievo jerseys have been some of the best looking ones in Serie A. I love my black and white, but I find Chievo’s colors and jersey refreshing since it’s not the usual 2-colored striped one.

    Cheers.

Agreed. Definitely a “reset” button needed for our “Ceo”. But we should be safe from relegation, and I also think the previous two games have not properly measured our capabilities. Bologna will be tough, but again I’m optimistic though I won’t predict a score this time. I just really, really, really hope we get some points on the board.
    Go Chievo!!

No, but this summer I was, according to my friends, abducted by Martians. Martians denied it, but I think it’s worth asking them to help Chievo fly.

Maybe every player should learn “I believe I can fly” by heart?
