Our deadly Roller coaster ride….

By: Mostafa | November 28th, 2008

Chievo\'s Execution Ok,I’m back, had to format but less about me more about chievo…
Whe have been getting our weekly rape, and the sad thing is this is just the eye of the storm, it only get’s worse from here, weve just been through Milan and Juve (both losses) and now, Undi, Roma (they are b___) and Inter. So these games are Rape games, we are just at the start of the demolition, now we are not only losing, we are losing badly, and as i said before the worse is yet to come… :( , the only bright side i see from this is (other than a source of light) that if we tie (tie fighter) or win in these next 3 games, we will be really greatfull.

Season Assessment.
Sun, Aug 31 Reggina W 2-1 (Our only win)
Sun, Sep 14 at Lecce L 0-2 (Bad Loss, we needed that win, 3 lost points here) -3
Sun, Sep 21 at Sampdoria D 1-1(That’s a good, Un Expected scre, so add one point) -2
Wed, Sep 24 Torino D 1-1 ( OK it’s an expected result) -2
Sun, Sep 28 at Catania L 0-1 ( Bad loss we needed a Tie here) -4
Sun, Oct 5 Fiorentina L 0-2 ( Expected ) -4
Sun, Oct 19 Atalanta D 1-1 ( Not that bad) -4
Sun, Oct 26 at Cagliari L 0-2 ( Tie here too was needed) -5
Wed, Oct 29 Lazio L 1-2 ( Well they were too good for anyone ) -5
Sun, Nov 2 at Palermo L 0-3 ( UNEXPECTED BAD RESULT) -8
COACHING CHANGE (no change in results though)
Sun, Nov 9 Juventus L 0-2 ( Expected ) -8
Sun, Nov 16 at AC Milan L 0-1 ( Expected ) -8
Sun, Nov 23 Siena L 0-2 ( Luck of the irish! lol) -11

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!

Summary:
Basicly we are 11 points below par, but everyone did too good, and as we saw the coaching change IS NOT an answer, we had a coach that wasn’t winning but knew the team well, and we changed that to a coach with a slightly better history, but a pro at getting relegated from Serie A.

The coming games are hopeless for us, we never did excel and get results that we weren’t favored to get, Unlike Lecce, whom have tied with the likes of Milan, we need not only good results but shock results.

Our revival is…
In the hands of the players and only the players, we all saw, a coaching change didn’t change anything, the siena game proved it
Depending on our glorious striker, who by the way is friends with all of serie A’s goalkeepers, when and if he starts getting goals we might start winning
Still 20% in the hands of to coach
BUT…
We still need to test ourselves against a Below mid table team (other than Roma) i am really looking forward to these next games because they are all supposed to be losses, if we get 1 result against any one of these teams, then praise the lord!

We have 5 important fixtures coming up that’s how i look to it, if we win 2/5 then this is a huge advancement, if we tie 3/5, then we are advancing slowly but steadily, if we tie only once, it will be a catastrophe, losing all is a season bye bye unless we work miracles!

A look in the future:
We have 2 matches if we win we will be almost back on track, Genoa (milito) and Bologna (beef), and the bologna match is extra important! we need to be sure that the crystal ball is wrong!
If we want to overtake bologna in position we have to beat them, and we got the stuffing to last in serie A, but we need results, and it has been a shitty start but it is not lost yet!

-¬-¬Short post i know but from now on i will take full responsibility of this blog, until samson finds a job and gets back, so expect a post each 3 days from me! it’s all i can offer now!-¬-¬

As I’ve said before, and you said as well, the coaching change did not help at all. In fact, I think that the change hurt the team. Before the change, the team wasn’t losing that badly with a coach that new the team well.

As of now, Chievo looks in disaray and the upcoming games will not help at all. I see disaster coming around the corner. Only by a miracle through the players actions on the field will we see otherwise. Oh well, I will stay optimist and see what happens.

The seasons assessments helps to see alot and the downfall as of today. Keep it in file and lets see how as the weeks pass, how much the team improves….Hopefully :D

The good thing is that its a LONG season, and up until May, we can hopefully climb out of this hole.

Btw, my and Fester were wondering about the update, and he will be back on Sunday to add some thoughts.

    Thanks!

    That graphic is hysterical.

Seriously though, I would not want to be in Chievo’s shoes right now; that’s a tough schedule for *anyone.*

    Good luck tomorrow, Donkeys.

    I am confused.

Why are you including Inter on the list of difficult games? Judging from the very learned opinion of one of the Roma fans… who somehow also calls himself a Chievo fan:

“Pauly WaLNuts (AS ROMA) November 29th, 2008 at 9:53 pm
Don’t forget, *[Inter]* also have the refs. If you doubt me, just pay attention to how the game will boil down to some miserable calls.”

So nothing to fear then. We are such a poor team that we need referee assistance.

I suggest that you only play the youth team… assuming Chievo has one.

I can only see an easy win for Chievo. In fact, if you don’t beat us running away, that is by at least 3 goals, I will definitely make it over here to laugh at you… as much as you deserve.

    to MAD:
A game against inter milan (for any team) is a tough game
If pauly said by an way that the inter game was easy (which i doubt) then that would be pauly’s list NOT MINE, i conside the inter milan match a hard one? yes, but after today’s match a tie is JUST possible. BUT that is assuming inter is in the CL form not Serie A form so I predict a 3-1 inter win, FROM TODAY.

    BTW

Glad you liked it vin ;)
Thx for your posts here guys!!!

Good old happy mad, Never is a game against Inter an easy game. Its twice as hard for all Serie A teams.

When you have a good team, which predominantly looks better on paper than on practical terms, PLUS, the favorable calls of the refs on your side, it is never easy. Never. The easy factor never became part of my comment.

I will post this again in the new section…..
