My Thoughts
Ok, I am aware that Ceo is not gonna pull off any miracles like the EPL’s Hull City (This is Serie A) They are not going to beat every team they come across; however, you would assume that they could pick up points at the expense of struggling Cagliari but no.
Our problems:
1) Our failiure to control long balls. Aquafresca’s goal (which i think is second best goal of the week under Kaka) came off a long ball to the touch line. One that (CB) Yepes wouldnt have known what do with it even if Acqua had fallen to the ground, knocking his pearly whites right out his mouth.(wishful thinking)
2) The lazyness after a not converting on a set peice. The explination for Fini’s Goal is simple, every donkey was acting like a jackass and was picking their nose after they saw their set peice come to nothing. It is what they get, it is what they deserve.
3) Attacking… what attacking? I have seen more fighting spirit in a nursery.
4) And just about every teams problem this week, the refs. I am one of those fans that most traditionalist consider; a “killer” of the sport. I am all for inserting technology into football. Sensors in the ball and goal posts for unsure goals, a man that is actualy at the other end of those dumb ass walky talky thingys the refs have; actualy telling them that an offside took place.
We have reached a stage in modern football. The stage being that plays are just too fast and tricky for one or two humans to make the right decision at first glance. Dont get me wrong; I dont wanna get all Bill Gates on the game but unless we put in 4 linesman and 8 refs on the pitch, this crap will continue. I still believe that fouls should be left up to the ref and linesman, including handballs. (they need to be good for something, right?)
Now check this out my friends. Take a look at our next 4 games:
Lazio-Palermo-Juventus-AC Milan. This should be a great 4 weeks… to consider changing channels. If their was ever a time to pick up points, it would have to be the past month and a half. These games; IMO, are inevitable loses or draws.
All i can say is: “God help our little squadra that resides in Verona.”

1. Agree Samson. “That would be great 4 weeks… to consider changing channels”. But if Bologna defeated Lazio, maybe Chievo also can

2. BTW, Acquafresca’s amazing. This guy really has great prospects before him (and his pearly whites).Posted from

I think Fester makes a great point, which came to my mind as i was reading.
The way things have panned out in Serie A, it seems as if the lesser teams have predominantly played tough, while others great, against the bigger teams. That even happened today! So, think about the following……
The fact that Chievo has “better” and “bigger” opponents in front of them, aside from Palermo of course, might be a good thing. You never know, but draws might not be an impossibility. Perhaps a surprising win might not be too crazy to suggest….We will see uh?

Btw, it seems that its a misfortune that Cheivo played their worst game of the season today, and against a team that stood behind them in the standings.
Failure to control the ball, lazziness, and no attacking football? Wow, that is pretty bad.
Cheivo is on the rise though…….

I didn’t know myself Johonna. Wanna loan Aquafresca to my favorite team, or maybe Chievo???

Not a chance!
Besides, Roma would only break him – look at all your injuries. Acquafresca is just fine at Cagliari.

Johonna, I know

And I suppose after getting some sessions with the medical team of Roma, he may get as fragile as Schnappi alias KA…Posted from

Btw, great video Samosn. I like the fact that it was 11 minutes long and I was able to pick up on a lot of data.
call me crazy but it’s so off to see Cagliari with those all red uniforms…..it looks odd to me.

Cagliari had red uniforms because the flood that hit in the metropolitan area of cagliari has damaged the sport circle where were the other uniform
The flooding that hit the south sardinia was very terrible,
several people dead and scattered

however it seems that these uniforms bring luck,
certainly our president (he was always superstitious) will opt to wear them also in the next match with Genoa

The storm damage is indeed very bad. The number of dead has now reached five, and there are concerns about the water supply.
There is a “slideshow” of some of the damage here:
